Fall In Love- With Joy Clair

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. Today I am here bringing you a card using this great stamp set "Fall In Love"
In order to make this project I first tool a panel of Recollections 110 lb card stock cut at 4" x 5.25" and placed a piece of Post-It tape across where I wanted to put the sentiment. I then grabbed my mini misti from the April collaboration with MSP and arranged the first layer of stamps how I wanted them to appear. Using Memento Dew Drop inks because they are small, I was able to use stamp the images without having them smudge. I chose to use the dye inks as they dry super fast.
Once I had all of the first layers stamped, I moved on to the second. I followed all this up by removing the post-it tape and placing the sentiment, and used Brilliance Coffee Bean ink to stamp the impression.
After I was sure the sentiment was dry, I rounded the alternating corners, I used double side tear tape to adhere this panel to a Kraft A2 card base. And with this my project was complete.

I hope you have enjoyed this bit of inspiration, don't forget to follow us on our social media venues to be the first to hear the news, sales, promotions and giveaways!

Back To School with Quick Quotes

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my take on a school box and supplies for back to school.

I used both sides of two sheets from the Serenade paper pack on this project (this paper is currently available in the September Club Q), and really hope you like it.

I wanted to put this together in a set that a teacher may enjoy. So six altered paperclips, 3 flags on the end of each paper side. The ruler is also backed with each side, the pen I used the strip side out, and the clipboard has the blue on one side and strips on the back. The ribbon on the clipboard and pen came from a Club Q pack in February, as well as the flowers. I used my Scan N Cut to cut out the Back To School title from the same paper. The school box itself I purchased at Dollar General and covered it on all sides with 2 cuts of the paper.

I hope you have liked today's project. I only wish I had a teacher to give it to, perhaps my great nephew can give it to his Kindergarten teacher, although they have been back to school for two weeks already.

Thank you for stopping by, please follow my blog and have an awesome day.

Quick Quotes Pocket Letter Adventure Awaits

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here today with a fun way to use up some product and share with a friend.
I am using items from the June Club Q kit along with paper from Adventure Awaits paper pack, Quotes and Phrases from Adventure Awaits, and Anchors Aweigh Chipboard Die Cuts.

Using Adventure Awaits AD105, and AD100 I cut 9 rectangles measuring 3.75" x 2.5". These are the front and back pages of the pockets. The front of the pocket is a sentiment from the Anchors Aweigh Chipboard Die Cuts, and another is in one of the pockets.

After filling all the pockets with fun items from the June Club Q kit that I had left over, I added the chipboard sentiment on the front, along with a cute little pirate girl that my friend Meghan colored. I printed the image with my Canon Selphy printer and cut it out with my Scan N Cut.
This project is being sent to a friend who just returned home from her first visit to the beach in her life. I am sad she did not choose to visit Florida for that trip, but from what she has said she had fun none the less. She is also new to scrapbooking so this I thought would be a great way to send her some supplies.

Little Monsters- Joy Clair Blog Hop Day 2

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my inspiration post using our new Color By Faith set called Little Monsters. These little guys are simply adorable, and this was the first set out of our kit that I started playing with.

This was a fun one, I took out the mini misti and arranged the stamps around the edge of an A2 panel that I had cut to 5" x 3.75". I then used my Memento Dew Drops to stamp each word in Rainbow Pattern.
While that dried I colored the little monsters with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The box is a die from Neat & Tangled, cut on DCWV card stock.

I hope you enjoyed this project, and use it to provide some inspiration for your own project.

Fly With Me, Joy Clair Blog Hop Day 1

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here today with my creation using the Joy Clair stamp set titled "Fly With Me".

I have to say I get so excited when we see the new product coming out, and in most cases as soon as it is at my door I already have paper chosen and ready to go, so that I can stamp, cut and get busy with it. This set was no exception, I had my plan ready and I think it worked out pretty good.

I used Recollections 110 lb cardstock for the base and sprayed it with Summer Sky Fireworks spray from Imagine Crafts. All images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. I used a combination of Bic Mark-It's, Sharpies, and Spectrum Noirs to color the Hot Air Balloons, and finished them off with Silver "Wink of Stella".
I really love this set and have a few more ideas that I have sketched out using it, just have to sit down and work it.

I hope you have enjoyed this project, and it has given you some inspiration to put it to work for yourself.

Let's start the fun with the creativity and remember that we always have prizes for our readers and visitors that comment HERE on our corporate blog and on ALL designer blogs.

Quick Quotes and Mommy's Little Diva

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here today with a project that I just love. The design team here at Quick Quotes received some new paper last month and I found a sheet that the front and back was absolutely perfect for my project.

My little 9 month old granddaughter is my inspiration for this post. My daughter sent me the proofs from her 9 month photos and this was PERFECT. The shoes she is standing it are my daughters wedding shoes, as seen in the photo on the lower right corner.
The poem in the middle I found on Google and it was actually written using the masculine form of Daddy and Dad, but hey, switch it up to make it work. I had fun with this and was able to use my Canon Selphy to print the photos and the sentiment on 4x6 photo paper. I used my steel dies and my Big Shot to cut down the images to the correct size. The pattern paper is from Serenade paper pack, and the gridded green is the reverse side of this page.

Sunsational Stamps Goes Camping

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn the Crafty Mimi here with my inspiration for the August Sunsational Stamps challenge.

When working on this project I used a digital image called "Camp More, Worry Less". I printed out 3 sets of the trees and colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, varying the colors to let the moon lite show the shadows. All other images were also colored with the Zigs. The starry background is cut with a die using my bigshot, and layered with yellow-gold glitter paper.
The main background I used distress inks to create by blending Chipped Sapphire, Mustard Seed, Pine Needles, Dusty Concord, Broken China and Black Soot.

Butterfly Kisses with Joy Clair

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn the Crafty Mimi here with a post using the Joy Clair Butterfly Kisses stamp set and a fun but easy technique.

Clear Stamps - Butterfly Kisses Clear Stamp - Joy Clair - 1
Butterfly Kisses

First thing I did was use one of my wavy dies and made 2 cuts in a 4.25" x 5.5" panel, I then used a pencil to mark my lines on an A2 card base.
Next I stamped the large butterfly spray from the stamp set and added in the extra butterflies from the set using Memento Tuxedo Black Dye ink.
I followed that up with using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color in the images.
The sentiment is stamped using Grape Jelly Memento Dye Ink.
I used foam tape to adhere the panels I had already cut, and then added this dimensional flower from my stash.
3 gold sequins finished off my project for today.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and hope you come visit again soon. Your comments are always read and are very valuable.

ATSM Challenge 253 Holiday Theme

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here today with Addicted To Stamps and More Challenge Blog with Challenge #253, Holiday Theme.

Today's post was made with card stock, 1 die, washi tape, 1 Joy Clair stamp and 3 pearls. Love the clean and simple that comes out of my craft room sometimes.

First I used a Red card base made of Recollections 110 lb card stock. I then took black and white card stock of the same brand, layered them to fit and put them through my big shot one pass with one die to cut on the angle.
I checked my washi tape collection for two that looked good together for this project, and then adhered them.
The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black with a Joy Clair stamp from the Merry Christmoose Set.
I followed that up with 3 red pearls and my project was complete.

I hope you have enjoyed this project. Thank you for stopping by, your comments are valuable.

Baby J, On Her Toes using StyleTech Vinyl

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn, the Crafty Mimi here today with my newest project from Tape Technologies.

Today's project is using the Florescent vinyl collection, in which we have six colors available. The great thing about this is a little something from the website which states... "Our Fluorescent Films are extremely bright, high gloss films designed for high visibility in daylight conditions. These colors are so bright that some of our customers call them day glow colors. OK, you know how bright these colors are by day, but did you know that they glow at night if you expose them to black light (UV light)?"
Well, let me say, I hope this project doesn't scare my grandbaby as it is for her room.

Baby J is 9 months old now, and this was a photo taken a couple days after she turned 9 months, and when I saw this frame, I knew it would be perfect. My original plan was to put this subway art on a canvas.

The file was cut with my Silhouette Cameo using a file from the Silhouette Design Store that I added a couple things to. The inspiration for this project came from baby J's bedding that is in the same colors.

Thank you for stopping by today, and please come back again soon to see my next project.

Joy Clair August Challenge, Layer It Up

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my project for the Joy Clair Inspirational Challenge.

My project came about in a strange way, and it hit me quick. I was looking through my Joy Clair Stamps for a particular set, and came across this one from March 2016 and said PERFECT!!! This Sunflower layering set I knew would match up for the Layering Theme and the colors would lend itself perfectly.

The inks used are all Memento Dew Drops Dandelion, Cantaloupe, Tangelo, New Sprout, Rich Cocoa and Summer Sky.  I used the Darice Clouds embossing folder, ran the Summer Sky over the top side and placed my 4 x 5.25 piece of Recollections 110 lb card stock and ran it though my big shot. This enabled the background to accept the Summer Sky color and left the clouds white.
For the Sunflower I used the Dandelion on the bottom solid layer, followed by Cantaloupe on the 2nd layer and Tangelo for the top. I then used New Sprout on the solid center layer and Rich Cocoa for the seed layer.
Sentiment is stamped using Rich Cocoa and New Sprout is used around the edge of the tag, with some gold jewels to add a little bling.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today, and that it has given you a bit of inspiration to work on a project of your own for our challenge. Remember you have until 8/31 to enter.

If you have read this far, let me say how excited I am. This post is my 200th post on my blog. I started this blog July 15, 2015, just as a way to keep track of my projects and gain inspiration to keep working. I then joined my first design team in October 2015, and was very excited to receive an email in December 2015 inviting me to be a member on the Joy Clair team. The past 19 months have been awesome, and I hope to be with this team for much longer. The friendships we have made and the feedback we give each other, the camaraderie and just overall fun.
And since I am celebrating my 200th post, I would like you to celebrate with me. One lucky winner has the opportunity to win a Joy Clair Stamp Set, All you have to do is tell me which one of my Joy Clair projects is your favorite. WARNING... I have made 98 posts using Joy Clair stamp sets in the past 19 months.
