White Rose Crafts and Legends Of The Sea

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with the unboxing video and first two projects for the new August 2018 White Rose Crafts Card Kit "Legends of the Sea".

Unfortunately my paper shifted when I cut the jar out of the topper to fit over the shaker element, I did not realize it until I stuck it down to the base :( However for this card I used the shaker card base from the kit, some of the sequins from the kit and one of the cut apart panels from the 12x12 sheet. I attached some of the blue raffia and the clam shell charm, with a blue bow from my stash.

For this project I used the kraft card base from the kit, die cut a part of a 6x6 panel, and a sentiment from the 12x12 sheet. I used a set of distress look dies from Sizzix and thought they were perfect to get that old map look. I used the brown Scrapberry ink to ink up the edges on both cards.

Thank you for checking out my cards, and visiting my blog. I really have a great time each week making and sharing my projects with you.

Love and Dreams with White Rose Crafts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my Paper Inspiration Week post for White Rose Crafts. This week I had fun making my first DecoMache project, and followed that up with a couple of greeting cards.

For this first project I painted the box with Yellow Spray Paint by Krylon. I then once dry covered it with Mod Podge Matte. Once tacky I covered here and there with the paper from the Simply Creative Decoupage Paper-Purple Feathers set. I then after having all the paper where I wanted, added another layer of Mod Podge to seal it. After letting it dry overnight, I used Jet Black Archival Ink to stamp out the words Dream and Love, two words I think of when I see feathers.

For this next project I used a Stampers Anonymous Stamp Set by Tim Holtz called Urban Grunge. This clear stamp set is great for various projects, and I chose to use the "Listen To Your Heart" sentiment with the bird for my card. I used a Hero Arts die from my stash to cut out the heart image, where I stamped the sentiment. I used Hero Arts Hybrid Inks to stamp the sentiment bird and branch. The paper is from Ultimate Crafts, L'aquarelle Designs. This is a 6x6 paper pack with 24 double side sheets 2 each of 12 designs.

This next and last card was made using glossy cardstock, Kaleidacolor Bouquet ink pad and a brayer. I then used Archival Jet Black ink to stamp out the Sentiment, butterflies and dragonflies from the L'Aquarelle Spread Your Wings stamp set by Ultimate Crafts.

I used Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends in Fairy Dust on both cards.

I hope you have enjoyed this project today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.

White Rose Crafts featuring Wild Rose Studio Paper and Stamps

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my White Rose Crafts post of the week featuring Wild Rose Studios.
Image may contain: text

I had a bit of fun with these and stepped outside my comfort zone a bit as well.

My first project used pattern paper from the Dancing Daisies 6x6 paper pack. The image is Bella with Flowers, which is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Watercolor pencils.
For my second project the background paper is Wild Rose 6x6 Paper pack Frosted Lace. The image is Christmas Bunny, which is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Watercolor pencils, the background sky is colored with Arteza waterbrush markers and the ground is Nuvo AquaBrush in Fresh Green. Although it doesn't show in my photo the White part around the bunny's coat is covered in Clear Wink of Stella.

I hope you have enjoyed this project today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.

Shaker Card Scrapping 4 Less Avery Elle and Heffy Doodle

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, a bit of fun today with some of the stamps that came in the June SFL Card Kit. While the kit is SOLD OUT, the stamps are available.
I had a lot of fun making this one, as I always do. First i used Kaleidacolor ink pad Blue Breeze and a brayer to lay down the first layer of ink...
I let this dry (just a couple minutes) and laid down my Heffy Doodle stencil called "Bubble Waves" and used Pink Iridescent Creative Medium and a palette knife to smooth through the stencil.

This once dry left an opal tone to my panel which is what I was looking for. The Puffer Fish and sentiment came from the Avery Elle "Sea-prise" stamp set. The little crabs came from the LDRS stamp set "At The Beach". The sequins came out from Collection 1 of the June Kit.

Hope you liked my projects today.

Snowflakes and Creative Vision Stamps

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. July is here and less than 6 months until the holidays and Winter. We don't see snow here in Central Florida so the only time I do get to see it is when I travel or crafting. Hope you don't mind.

For this project I used the "Snowflake" from the Holiday Tag Foilables. . The background paper is from my stash, and combined with the ribbon in the background I thought it went well with the Seaside Cabana Foil.

For this project I used the Swingline Inspire Plus Laminator. I let the machine heat up for about 30-45 minutes before putting my foil pack through it, I then turn the image 90* and run it through again. I let it cool and use my bone folder to burnish the foil before pulling the foil off the image.

I hope you have enjoyed this project today. Please be sure to take a look over at Creative Vision Stamps and see all the other amazing Foilable products available, as well as the stamps in Clear and Red Rubber.

Happy Birthday USA with White Rose Crafts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. It is International Week over at White Rose Crafts, so here I am with my project.

My inspiration came from the fact that yesterday was Independence Day, the 242nd Birthday of the United States. For my project I used a Stamper's Anonymous Stamp Set called "Random Thoughts" for the stars. The Cupcake and sentiment are from Your Next Stamps "Love Muffin" set. The inks I used are from Scrapberry Stain's collection in Blue and Pink.  I used Nuvo Aqua colors to color the cupcake.

I hope you have enjoyed this project today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.
