Love Anything With Dies=DT Call

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. Today I am bringing you a great little card I made using rectangle dies, scalloped edge die and hearts dies. The Love I made with my ScanNCut.

This project is my entry for the Little Happy Stampers Anything With Dies Design Team Call.

Thank you for checking out my post, I hope you enjoyed my project.

Clean and Simple Christmas DT CALL

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. Today I want to bring to you a Christmas card made for a couple of design team calls going on right now.

This card is a double embossed technique. First I used embossing paste and a Folk Art stencil. Once I had the embossing paste on, I used WOW embossing powder and covered the embossing paste. I then used my heat tool to help it set.

Using Versamark I then stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Added a strip of ribbon and a bow from my stash and my CAS Christmas card was complete.

I hope you like my project and I will be back in a few days with a new project.

Follow up on Joy Clair Post 10-5-16

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. I just wanted to hop on today with the two projects I am showcasing over on the Joy Clair blog.

Using the October release set of Fall Happenings I created this little scene. The pumpkin that says "Pumpkin Patch" is from the September release "Fall Planner Set".

Using the Harvest Blessings set, I went to work. I used the Autumn Leaves ink pad from Kaleidacolor I closed the pads together and drug it across the page to add color until covered. I then used the svg file with my scan n cut and cut out the images, which I then stamped with my Stampoholic.
Using my Spectrum Noir markers I went to work on the images. Using my ATG tape I affixed the background to the kraft color cardstock base. Using a combination of ATG and foam dots, I was able to complete the scene.

This Bible Journal page was made using the "Give Thanks" set form the September release.

I hope you have enjoyed my creations and please follow my blog, so you will know when it is updated.

Sami Stamps and Challenge Yourself 87

Greeting crafty friends. I am here today with a project using an image from our friends at Sami Stamps. This shop has some great digital images and I hope you find as many fun ones to work with as I have.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so with Sami Stamps we are helping spread the word.

First thing I did was print the image with my laser printer, and cut it down to the desired size. I went through my stash and picked out the background paper I wanted to use,  and I then went to work using Spectrum Noir markers. My flower image really needed to not clash with the paper.  I used foam tape to add some dimension for the image, a few butterfly dew drops and my project was complete.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and participate in our challenge. Please head over to Martha's blog to see how to enter :)

Joy Clair October Blog Hop- Away In A Manger

Greetings Crafty Friends. Time for another great installment of the Joy Clair Monthly Blog Hop.
Today I am going to highlight one set from this months release.
Away In A Manger is a great 4x6 set. With 4 sentiments and 2 images, one in which can be colored, this is going to make some great Christmas cards.

In order to complete my project I used the Blue Breeze Kaleidacolor ink pad and brayered it on the shiny side of Kromecote paper. While it was drying I stamped the North star and manger images, and used the Scan n Cut to make them great little die cuts. Once cut I used Spectrum Noir markers for coloring fun.
Using my Stampoholic Nano I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black, loving the fact I was able to double stamp for a clear image. Adding the card topper to the kraft card base, and adhering the star and manger my card was complete.

Hi there crafty friends. I wanted to take time today to let you know that the Joy Clair October Challenge has begun.
Our Challenge Inspiration:
Using the Fall Time Planner set released in September to make my sign. I used pattern paper from my stash as the background and adhered it to kraft cardbase. I then used my scan n cut to make the cutting of the maze, some raffia from my stash and stamped the sign with Navy pigment ink from Amuse.

The challenge is to use at least 3 colors from the above palette. Come on along and join in.

The Robins Nest KRM IS 2

Greetings crafters. Today I am excited to be here with Robin's Nest and to share with you a project that I have been spending a bit of time thinking about making.
First up are the photos I used in my project, as unfortunately no matter how hard I try they just do not come through as nice in the layout photo.

Now, you have seen the photo's I chose so lets take a look at the paper. First thing I did when deciding on this project was to hop over to the The Robins Nest and take a look at what was available for my project. This is what I came up with. Now let me say, I am in Florida and it was 4 days from order to delivery... I think that is pretty amazing, especially since I ordered over the Labor Day weekend.
This is close up and links directly to the paper.

The first paper I used as the background for my layout, and the second was used as my photo background. I did quite a few workups and walked away, worked up and walked away before the final layout decision was made.

After printing the photos and using my Gina Marie stitched dies to cut them out with my Big Shot, I then made the background layer the same way. I then pulled some other dies from my stash and found the balloons, strings, KRM letters and fish. Using some Colorbok squares from my stash I set out to cut the items and play with them around the layout.

After having everything die cut, I then used my mini Xyron to add the adhesive to all the little cuts. My photos were set in place and adhered to the page and then I started having fun with my die cuts.

Once I was happy, I added a couple stickers to the balloons so the title box states... KRM Is 2. My fish were added and some mini clear dew drops were added as fish air bubbles. My project is complete and I sent a photo of it to my daughter. She is thrilled and can't wait to hang it in KRM's room.

The layout ideas that did not make the cut!!!
