RETARTE- CHALLENGE YOURSELF #89 WITH A DAY FOR DAISIES

Greetings Crafty Friends, today I would like to share with you a project I did using a digital image from a day for daisies...This is for the great challenge going on over at Retarte

This is the image, titled Three Nice Gifts:

As soon as I saw this design, my card started coming together in my mind. I made 3 prints of it, and cut with my scan n cut. After finding the background paper I wanted to use I went to work. Used a wonderful Christmas tree die my friend Kat designed, I cut out the tree from two different pattern papers and layered alternating with dimensional tape the tree was set, I then went to work with my digital images and various markers to color them brightly. Using dimensional tape I attached the gifts under the tree, and the sentiment above.

Two Birds, One Stone

If you have not read already, I am a Mimi again. My little sweet pea was born on October 26, weighing in at 3 lbs 14 oz, and 17.5 in long.

She is so precious and this card I have made is for her. Not the first I have made for her in the past 3 days and most certainly there will be many more to come over the years.

Now for my card. Using some patterned paper from my stash, I believe is from The Paper Studio, and some Doodlebug plain from a 6x6 pad, I was able to make the card topper. The dies for the stars are from Die Cuts and More, and the card topper was cut with dies from Katscrappiness. The wavy edge die is from Lawn Fawn.
The sentiment is from a Hampton Arts set called Dreams. The charms are from a collection I was gifted last year.

Challenge Yourself Retarte 88- What's Shakin' with the Cutting Cafe

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with Challenge Yourself 88-- SHAKERS. 

We are teaming up with The Cutting Cafe for this challenge and let me say they have some great files. 

The file that I decided to use is the Ghost from the Halloween and Fall Shaker Cards set.

For my project I made 4 cards, one is a shaker and the other 3 were made using the extra pieces I cut form each color. No since in wasting paper, and I had also entered a swap that the them was Halloween cards. This helped make this easy for me. 

The files downloaded as a zip file, after unzipping, I was able to use the SVG and my ScanNCut, a few minutes later the files were cut. 

For the Shaker card I used the Boo-tacular mix from KatScrappiness (link in my side bar). I had google eyes in various sizes and colors, just to make the guys a little more fun. The background paper on each card is from a Halloween paper pack purchased 2 years ago from Oriental Trading.

DCAM October Blog Hop LeeAnn

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. This is the first Blog Hop for the new Die Cuts and More (DCAM) Design Team. The new team would like to share with you the projects we have worked on with our new release... Die Cuts and More STENCILS. 

Videography has not been my thing, however I am going to be working on it more and more. Please bare with me as this video is a little on the long side (25 minutes). However it is Complete start to finish on how I made my card.

My Second project was really fun. I was sorry I did not make a video of this one. 

After using Fired Brick Distress ink and the Bricked Wall stencil on Grey Recollections card stock, I sat that aside to dry and used the Stampoholic and Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp my Megan image. 

My scan n cut was used to cut her out, and I went to work with Alcohol markers to color her in. A little Wink of Stella was used on her belt to make it shine.  

I then used my Big Shot to cut the you're, amazing and shaker tag dies. I put the shaker together adding the Glitter sequins inside with the die cut words. 

I used dimensional foam to add the elements to the card base. A few Prima flowers with Clear Dropplets in the middle completed this project.

CAS Happy Monsters=DT CALL

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. Today I am bringing you a child's birthday card made with some cut Happy Monsters. I love Clean and Simple 'CAS' cards, and this is a favorite. So easy to make using an oval die to cut the monsters out of pattern paper. Using a scalloped edge die to trim out the bottom. Add little parts for the arms, and a cute little balloon. Some faces stamped on as well as the image and my card is complete. This project is for a current CAS DT Call.
