Quick Quotes Flip Flop Kind of Day

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here today with a fun project. I have really fallen in love with two of our paper packs and find myself using a lot of it, so happy to have them both here.
Adventure Awaits and Anchor's Away are really finding their way into many of my recent projects. I really hope you find I am doing them the justice they deserve.

On to today's project. I sat and thought about what I wanted to do, and decided to start looking at the Anchor's Aweigh sentiment sheets first. Well the quote box that jumped at me was Flip Flop Kind of Day, and I remembered this cute stamp set I have from Dare 2 B Artzy that I used last month with my clock project. The set  has a pair of flip flops as well. SO, I grabbed my paper box, went through and found some Adventure Awaits pages that I wanted to use with this project.

Process to make project: Using Adventure Awaits QQP-AD105 I cut one panel 5.25 x 4 and from Adventure Awaits page QQP=AD101 I cut 2 panels, the striped side panel is 5 x 3.75, The Night Blue panel is 4.75 x 3.5.

Using my stamp positioner I used POW69 Peach Tree Powderpuff Chalking ink and stamped the set of flip flops, I then repositioned the panel and stamped them again. After this I set the panel aside to dry. I also took that initial cut panel from AD105 and inked the edges with the Peach Tree as well.

Using double side tape I adhered the AD105 to my card base. I then adhered the striped layer from AD101, and then the stamped layer also from AD101.

At this point I cut the banner quote from QQP-AW500 and affixed it to a cut out from the AD105 page and banner cut it to match the quote. Using foam tape I adhered it to my card. Using On Point Glue I adhered 3 aqua dots around the card.

I  really hope you have enjoyed this project. My oldest daughter loves her flip flops and this card will be in the mail to her when this post goes live.

Have a great day. Please be sure to check out and enter this months challenge, all information for that is here.

I printed the images I wanted to use and cut them with my Scan n Cut. Using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers I went to work. List is below with the colors used for each item.

Joy Clair June Challenge- Lemonade

Greetings friends. Welcome to the June inspiration challenge post for Joy Clair. This is our inspirational photo.
First thing I noticed was all of the colors, then I thought to myself I have some pattern paper with those colors. And I went to work. I can't tell you what pack this paper is from because it was received in a swap about two years ago.  I also recently purchased this stamp set for another project I had in mind, and thought it would be perfect. So I went to work. I started with an orange card base, then a lavender layer base then the pattern paper of the top,  I followed that up with the polka dot strips on an angle. I used my rectangle stitched dies to cut a bright yellow layer and white layer. I then used my stamping tool to lay out and stamp the lemon slices, lemonade glass and the word Enjoy! I used double stick tear tape to attach the layers together. Using Spectrum Noir FL3 I colored the lemon rind. I used CT2 to color the lemons and the lemonade. I found some enamel dots in my stash that match the card colors and my project was complete.

I hope this project has inspired you to get creative. Come join our challenge, I will be watching for your entries.

Wedding Bells and SpringTime Flowers

Greetings friends, LeeAnn here today with a project that is very near and dear to me. I used the Spring Time Flowers and Doodle Flowers sets on this fun project.

Now a little backstory. I have three wonderful daughters, 2 awesome sons in law, and 2 amazing grandchildren. My two oldest daughters are married and the baby is getting married in August. Due to the fact that my older two lived many miles away when they married, I really did not get to participate as much as I would have liked. Leave the last, who only lives an hour away... I get to do all the fun stuff now. So far we have been to a bridal show with her future mother in law, went dress shopping along with my middle daughter, my grandbaby and one of my daughter's friends (and she said YES to her DRESS). Well, the best part of all was the privilege of making her invitations and rsvp cards. Which brings me back to my post.

As my daughter and I were figuring out what she wanted her for the invitation, I was sending her photos of our new stamp sets. she said she wanted Daisies, so I said hang on, I quickly stamped the daisy and sent it over FB messenger. I said I have another idea... I stamped it, cut with the Scan n cut, stamped again and heat embossed it and added some yellow in the middle... eh, but not sold yet. I told her to give me a few minutes... I stamped, close cut so no framing, stamped again, heat embossed, added some Fabrika Cornflower drops in the middle, also stamped the Jar from the Doodle Flowers set on light blue cardstock, and then added cut vellum over the top to look like glass. SHE LOVED IT!!! Then the fun part of her wording started.

What you see here is the final cut of my daughter's wedding invitation, of course, information has been blurred out.

I hope you have enjoyed this project and it has given you some inspiration.

Quick Quotes, Calm The Storm

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. I'm here today with a card that I made using paper and inks from Quick Quotes and a stamp set from Joy Clair.

I stamped the ship image with Mocha Mama and set aside to dry. I then went to work with the base panels. The main panel cut from Chiffon is 4.5 x 5.75. I then made a smaller layer of 4.25 x 5.5 from Adventure Awaits. A panel of white that had been run through an embossing folder and cut to 3.75 x 5 was attached next. A layer from Adventure Awaits was cut with a 4.5 diameter circle die, followed by another piece fo the Chiffon cut at 1.25 x 3.75 with banner tails, I then cut Adventure Awaits again at 1 x 3.5 to make a smaller banner tail.
I used a rope stitched oval die to cut the panel for the ship.
Now that the ship is dry, I used Royal Blue for the water, and Sky Blue for the sky, both on the image panel and the embossed sheet underneath so that it all flows together.
